restrictions.\u00a0 But the presentation of cheques to the four charities took place on Wednesday 15th July in Vivary Park, with social distancing safely observed.\u00a0 SI Taunton President, Fee Bellamy welcomed the Taunton Mayor, Francesca Smith, the charity representatives and some members of SI Taunton.\u00a0 Swimathon Co-ordinator Christine Briggs announced the total raised this year was \u00a316,528.06.\u00a0 This means that over its 32 year history the grand total raised by the Swimathon is just over \u00a3677,000!<\/p>\n<p>The Taunton Mayor presented a cheque for \u00a34,132.06 to each of the charity representatives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bill Sivewright, CEO Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance<\/li>\n<li>Kara Frampton, Area Fundraising Manager, St Margaret&#8217;s Hospice<\/li>\n<li>Fiona Mahoney, CEO Reminiscence Learning (and Archie!)<\/li>\n<li>Bill Tregillus, Trustee Taunton Opportunity Group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=&#8221;vc_gid:1615026097728-b173572b-ecc2-6&#8243;
