24 APRIL 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A enjoyable evening where the total of \u00a312,000 raised at the swimathon was shared between 3\u00a0 charities &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>The Duke of Edinburgh&#8217;s Somerset Bursary Committee<\/p>\n<p>Taunton East Development Trust<\/p>\n<p>Stand Against Violence<\/p>\n<p>This makes an impressive total to date over the past 34 years of\u00a0 \u00a3688,046 helping 82 local charities.<\/p>\n<p>Photos below show &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>The Soroptimist Swans Team<\/p>\n<p>All the trophy winners<\/p>\n<p>Team Sanch 1 who swam the second highest number of laps &#8211;
