Membership has fluctuated over the years, taking a dip as a new generation was needed to take over the reins. The club membership has started to grow again to 16. The club recognisies that life is busy for working women so we have 2 types of membership:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Full Membership <\/strong>for members who want to be fully involved in planning our programme action and bring new ideas to the table.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>they can suggest projects or causes for consideration;<\/li>\n<li>become involved in projects they feel passionate about. or have a specialist knowledge of;<\/li>\n<li>they can hold office at club, Regional or Federation level ( for example a SI The Wrekin member was regional President in 2011\/12); and<\/li>\n<li>they can organize or support club events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Associate Membership<\/strong> for women unable to attend Club meetings due to work or family commitments, but want to be involved in projects when time allows. Associate members will be able to keep up to date through our website, social media and email updates.<\/p>\n<p>Membership also offers an opportunity to network with other Soroptimists both in the UK and globally.\u00a0 All members have the opportunity to attend Regional, UK and International conferences.<\/p>\n<p>The Club subscription is set annually. It includes Regional and Federation dues and club running costs, members can pay annually or monthly over 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in getting involved you are welcome to attend a couple of meetings to get a feel of the club, or meet up for a coffee locally for an informal chat with one or two of our members.<\/p>\n<p>Contact
