No, nothing to do with rugby \u2013 the Soroptimists had arrived! The club house is the headquarters for Brixham Soroptimists and they had invited Torquay and Plymouth ladies to join them for their Speaker Meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The room was packed ready to listen to John Risdon, born in Brixham, is a well known local historian from the Galmpton &amp; Churston Local History Group.<\/p>\n<p>Brixham President, Wenona Pappin kept order with her gavel. (Now we all want one.)\u00a0 She gave out messages and information and then mentioned food! It was delicious and there were seconds!<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the Brixham ladies in charge of supper \u2013 it was a triumph.<\/p>\n<p>The evening was a chance to mix and connect with other ladies.
