{"id":827,"date":"2016-10-11T20:54:56","date_gmt":"2016-10-11T19:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/torquay-and-district\/?p=827"},"modified":"2016-10-11T20:54:56","modified_gmt":"2016-10-11T19:54:56","slug":"2016-donation-of-twiddlemuffs-purple-angel-memory-cafe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sigbi.org\/torquay-and-district\/2016\/10\/11\/2016-donation-of-twiddlemuffs-purple-angel-memory-cafe\/","title":{"rendered":"2016 Donation of Twiddlemuffs &#8211; Purple Angel Memory Cafe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 8<sup>th<\/sup> October a meeting was held at the Purple Angel Memory Caf\u00e9 for folks suffering with dementia.\u00a0 The caf\u00e9 is based at the Barton Baptist Church in Torquay and that\u2019s where a group of Torquay Soroptimist\u2019s \u00a0arrived on Saturday at 2pm.<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere was very natural and friendly and we were soon introduced to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>We delivered our colourful collection of Twiddlemuffs as gifts for the group.\u00a0 We explained how to use them and took them round for everyone to investigate and choose one to take home.\u00a0 There were happy faces all round \u2013 time to go?
