The route taken to becoming a potter, via zoology and accountancy and a host of other roles, many voluntary, and also to reflect on what running a business means to me.’…you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.’

Tunbridge Wells we invite you to #DaretoDream
44 Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 8AU
Following in the footsteps of all those who have created Tunbridge Wells, Friends of the Earth & Tunbridge Wells Soroptimists invite you to Dare to Dream about the heritage we leave for our children in our town.
On the last day of Heritage Open Days for 2019 we offer you the chance to sit, reflect and sew.
You may have walked around churches, graveyards, beautiful parks and gazed at the world through stained glass windows. Maybe you have visited historic houses, windmills and museums. You might have heard talks about women and men from our local area who strove to create a better, fairer more peaceful world.
So what will you embroider as you Dare to Dream ?
Will be it a plastic free ocean
#Lesspollution – as my children walk to school
#A Community that Works Together
An open mind and a willingness to share your thoughts & stitch your words onto fabric and create physical word clouds which we will then share on social media, maybe hang from trees or in a window. Your decision.
