We have just completed our first batch of 25 bags which will be passed to the Christian African Relief Trust and sent to Africa. \u00a0The bags, which contain washable sanitary kits, underwear and a cloth for washing, will be donated to women and girls who can\u2019t afford or don\u2019t have access to the\u00a0sanitary products\u00a0available to those of us in England.\u00a0 The kits are reusable and should last three years.\u00a0 The young women often miss out on education during the \u2018time of the month\u2019 as they are regarded as unclean.\u00a0 \u00a0This is an on-going project in our Club and everyone is able to join in \u2013 from cutting out, sewing or making the tea!\"DfG<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
