Brenda was delighted to see the very swift Surrey Comet coverage of the\u00a0 welcome presentation of an initial donation of a sum of \u00a3500 raised by Soroptimists in the Weybridge and District Club.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Brenda, seen presenting the cheque to the Foodbank Team Leader in person in July said \u00a0&#8220;It was simply amazing&#8230;the response to our club campaign #Meal4Another was instant and we soon had enough to donate \u00a3500, a first part of the planned sums. I&#8217;m fairly new to Soroptimism myself, inspired by the global voice and action this 100 year old women&#8217;s association focused on helping women and girls succeed has, it&#8217;s proven our local members will quickly help local families facing food and fuel poverty.
