Our President\u2019s party for President Sheelagh of SI Widnes was held at the Holy Family Social Club on Tuesday 23rd April which was St George\u2019s Day.\u00a0 Everyone did their best to dress in red and white for the occasion.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It was attended by the Mayor of Halton, Valerie Hill, Maria from Halton Haven, members of SI Widnes, SI St Helens and SI Crosby.<\/p>\n

We had a quiz which Annette\u2019s husband had kindly put together for us.\u00a0 The quiz was followed by a Beetle Drive with a difference! As it was St George\u2019s Day we used a dragon for St George instead of a traditional beetle.\u00a0 Our President, Sheelagh, was the first to complete her dragon.<\/p>\n

President Sheelagh presented a cheque to Maria from Halton Haven for \u00a32,300.00; the fantastic amount she has raised during her year as President.\u00a0 This was gratefully received by Maria from Halton Haven and she said it was a great achievement and it was much appreciated.<\/p>\n

A beautiful buffet was prepared by Eleanor. Thank you Eleanor!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Everyone received a gift too and a lovely evening was enjoyed by all.<\/p>\n
