A club by women for women, where everyone is heard<\/h2>\n

Traditionally clubs have had a President and Executive Committee. To achieve a more equitable distribution of projects and responsibility, we moved away from this format.<\/p>\n

We further developed this to put Programme Action at the heart of how we are organised.<\/p>\n

Currently all members opt into one or more of the programme action groups. We also encourage members with individual interests and charities in which they may be involved.<\/p>\n

Members of each group take responsibility for managing the business meetings and organising speakers or other activities for the supper meetings.<\/p>\n

Soroptimist International has consultative status at the United Nations. Our projects and activities link to the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n
