A charity that fights for menstrual equity, especially for the poor, for refugees and for those in the asylum system.\u00a0 You can donate here<\/a><\/p>\n

From me to you letters<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

This is a simple, but wonderful idea to help cancer sufferers – write a letter from time to time.<\/p>\n

Let’s Talk Loneliness<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

‘All of us can experience loneliness at some point in our lives. It\u2019s time we started talking about it.’\u00a0 \u00a0This website has a lot of info about all aspects of loneliness. Well worth looking at.<\/p>\n

Woking Debates<\/a><\/p>\n

The Woking Debates offer an opportunity for Woking residents to talk together bout important issues.\u00a0 The next one is on the first Saturday in August: ‘Is the UK fair to immigrants<\/p>\n

Cedar House Support Group<\/a> – This charity, headed by Liz Wise, runs support groups across Surrey and in London to help women suffering from postnatal depression – PND affects many new mothers and some fathers.<\/p>\n

Woking Mind<\/a>: “We are Woking Mind, your local mental health charity.\u00a0 We believe no-one should face a mental health problem alone, so we are here for support and advice”\u00a0 One of the essential services for local residents.<\/p>\n

Woking Town Twinning Association<\/a> – WTTA: does a great deal to cement good relations with Woking’s Twin Towns in France and Germany.<\/p>\n

Woking Food Bank<\/a> – does a great job collecting food to people in need.\u00a0 Look out for collection days at local supermarkets or take items to the Lighthouse building in the centre of Woking<\/p>\n
