This quarters RCM was held in Askham Richard, a lovely village within the York environs. It is home to Askham Grange the women’s open prison and Yorkshire Soroptimists meet there once a year where we are looked after wonderfully well by the staff and the residents.<\/p>\n

The main items on the agenda were a presentation by Erica Amende of Spen Valley Civic Society who told us all about the creation of the Jo Cox wood planted in memory of the murdered MP and a presentation with questions from SIGBI President Ruth Healey about the plans to modernise the organisation.<\/p>\n

We also heard from SI Halifax, SI Bingley, SI Hallamshire about their programme action and the joint library project with SI Blantyre Malawi, great work and very inspiring to all.<\/p>\n
