Project Teams
Club Members are all in one of the three teams with a focus on different Soroptimist International Programme Objectives. Changing Teams periodically is encouraged. The Teams meet to plan events / projects as necessary. Members support all Club projects and attend events organised by all of the teams.
Peace Team – projects to end and support violence against women Denise Powell, Ameeta Sabharwal, Catherine Moore, Liz Tillett, Ann Beatty, Anne Leverton, Helen Atkinson, Ayushi Kundu, Shenara Abraham.
Planet Team – projects relating to sustainability and the environment Helen Byrne, Sarah Lichman, Janet Tansley, Patsy Cann, Diana Kingham, Nicky Bloom, Anna Barrett, Linda Middleton

As the Communications Officer, Jane Slatter promotes the activities of all the teams.

The work the Club does on Prosperity is via the Lend With Care microfinancing project, administered by Sue Rayment and the Club’s Treasurer.
Partnerships – this is the work we do with outside organisations so this Programme area goes across all of our work.
