A message from Regional President

 It is a privilege to write this  as your president. I have  enjoyed the year of  preparation and I hope you  will share in my plans for the  coming year. I have tried to  involve as many people as  possible in these events, and  trust that all Soroptimists will  find something to their taste  throughout the year.  Wherever possible I would  be delighted to accept any  invitation to your club. What  I would particularly like is to  be invited to one of your  business meetings, perhaps  accompanied by one of the  other Regional Officers.

The strap line “Because  we’re worth it” reflects my  belief that everyone has a  talent, but not everyone  recognises how talented they  are. Not everyone has confidence in their abilities or  uses their talents to the best  effect. So the message is –  have confidence in yourself,  and let us, together, make a  difference.

Every woman deserves the  right to realise her potential.
