About our club

Welcome to the website for Soroptimists on Anglesey.

A club by women for women, where everyone is heard

Welcome to the Soroptimist International Anglesey website. We meet monthly at the Nant-yr-Odyn Hotel, near Llangefni and have a varied programme of events throughout the year. We are a lively and diverse group of around 28 members, raising awareness, providing service and raising funds for local charities and supporting many of the objectives that involve women and children of the world.

Who we are

As our name implies, Soroptimist International is a worldwide organisation, the largest currently supporting women and girls into education, empowerment and enablement and we are pleased to have firm friendship links with a few clubs both here in the UK and internationally. We exchange correspondence with the following Clubs, attend events wherever practical, and meet up with fellow members at Conference.  Clubs support each other in their work whenever possible.  Our Friendship Links are: SI Darlington and District,  SI Lancaster, SI Stratford upon Avon and SI Pune Metro East [India]
