Wear Valley Women’s Aid is a support service for women and children who have been subjected to domestic abuse. The refuge provides advice and guidance.
A women’s refuge is not a hiding place, nor is it a place which women run away to. It is a supportive environment and an alternative to living with abuse.
Our members regularly have collections of self-care and cleaning products. We also use ‘In Kind Direct’ to source various items needed for the women and their children.
