About our club

Soroptimist International Epsom and District has been running for many years. We are a small, friendly club which welcomes new members. You can get involved at whatever level you like from just attending our online Zoom meetings where we have interesting and informative talks about issues affecting women locally, nationally or internationally. These talks often spark our enthusiasm for action which we follow up in our Programme Action meetings held in person at a member's house.

A club by women for women, where everyone is heard

We are a friendly, dedicated group of women from various backgrounds and of different ages, helping women and girls who may be suffering from abuse, suppression, lack of freedom, lack of education and poverty.

Current projects

Our main project is Who’s Seeing Red which is a response to the financial, environmental and health costs of using disposable menstrual products Trauma Teddies: Members and friends of SI Epsom & District knit teddies which are passed to the police in our area. They have these available to give to children they encounter in traumatic situations.
