Who are we?

We are a women’s organisation working to help women and girls locally, nationally and around the world. We have members from Epsom,  Mole Valley, Leatherhead, Dorking, Bookham, Chessington, Kingston and  Worcester Park.  As the local club of Soroptimist International, our work contributes to the standing of Soroptimist International as a non-governmental organisation with consultative status at the United Nations.

What do we do?

We use our time and skills to benefit women and girls. But it isn’t all work! Members have fun and find friendship and mutual support when needed. There are opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, experiences and to achieve goals personally and as a group.

The pandemic has enabled us to move away from traditional meetings and events and develop a programme of virtual meetings and activities.  We have supported members to develop the use of Zoom.

Our fortnightly meetings on Zoom include: discussion, speakers, fundraising events and a Christmas Social. There is additional contact through one to one support  and small group social activities to reduce isolation and enable members to socialise.
