The Big Heart Quiz  Saturday 13 February 7.30 pm on Zoom

The Big Heart Quiz is for all those who are generously taking part and have a big heart when it comes to raising funds. It also happens to coincide with Valentine’s Day, which is the next day so there may be one or two related questions! Presiding over the event will be Quizmistress Alexandra Curtis!

There is a voluntary donation of £5 per person( minimum). This is to be made at the time of booking in order to raise funding for 3 domestic abuse charities supported by SI Epsom & District. The charities are True Honour, East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services and Reigate & Banstead Women’s Aid. You are welcome to take part on your own or with other people in your household.

Who are we?

We are a women’s organisation working to help women and girls locally, nationally and around the world. As the local club of Soroptimist International, our work contributes to the standing of Soroptimist International as a non-governmental organisation with consultative status at the United Nations.

What do we do?

We use our time and skills to benefit women and girls. But it isn’t all work! Members have fun and find friendship and mutual support when needed. There are opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, experiences and to achieve goals personally and as a group.

The pandemic has enabled us to move away from traditional meetings and events and develop a programme of virtual meetings and activities.  We have supported members to develop the use of Zoom.

Our fortnightly meetings on Zoom include: discussion, speakers, fundraising events and a Christmas Social. There is additional contact through ‘bubbles’ of small groups to reduce isolation and enable members to socialise.

Why not give us a try?
