About our club

Our members make a difference to the lives of women and children and have great time doing it. We challenge social issues and contribute to a wider understanding of international goodwill. We can influence governments locally, nationally and internationally. Soroptimist International of Falkirk (SI Falkirk) is the oldest womens' club in Forth Valley and was founded on 3rd March, 1945, a daughter club of Glasgow Central. The club was chartered in May, 1945 by Dr. Mary Stevenson the Federation President. The founder President Miss Harriet Cairns was a Maternity Home Matron. Still interested? A club by women for women, where everyone is heard

Si Falkirk is a women’s organisation which supports issues, and causes that support the welfare of women and girls locally and across the world. We come together fortnightly apart from main holiday periods and enjoy a range of social activities. We currently welcome members from Falkirk, West Lothian, Stirling and the surrounding areas.
