SI Folkestone in 2015, celebrated fifty years of service to the community, both locally and internationally. We promote high ethical standards in business and promote the cause of women in the world today, through service, and lobbying. In 2021, we continued our work with the local Women’s refuge, supporting Baby Basics Folkestone, Shepway Foodbank and the Marine Conservation Society Beach Clean.
Our Programme Action page shows more of what we are about and what we are currently working on. Soroptimists also like to have fun and is also about friendship! We also enjoy food and drink, and this is a theme of main of our charity and social events!! A Soroptimist and her food are rarely parted 🙂
