About our Club
Llandudno and District Soroptimists are the local branch of an International Women’s Organisation. We work to raise the awareness of issues which affect women and children locally, nationally and internationally. At present we have 36 members, all actively involved with club activities. Our club covers the area around Llandudno and Conwy County
We have a good mix of social events as well as raising the profile of causes connected with women and raising some money for charities. We support causes which benefit women and children and these are both long term and transient, as Presidents choose their own charities and Soroptimist International and Soroptimist International Great Britain & Ireland also change thier chosen causes.
We meet for Business Meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month and for Speaker Meetings on the 4th Thursday of each month at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Llandudno, at 7.30 pm.
Llandudno and District Club was first chartered in October 1962.
Here we are, with friends, at the Bandstand on Llandudno promenade commemorating International Women’s Day 2019.
