Since being presented with our winner’s certificate at Harrogate Conference by Federation President Margaret, we are delighted to update you on how our Sewing Bee global network has grown!
Another update!! Club member Dishi is travelling with Gill and Rose to Sierra Leone to see the Kori Project first hand!! This trip of 10 members takes place in October 2017.

Cameroon SI Kaarst 100 dresses, 50 shorts, 120 filled pencil cases
Sierra Leone Kori Project SI Thames Valley 140 dresses, 55 teddies and dolls
Lusaka, Zambia Baraka 50 dresses, 10 skirts for ladies and 20 teddies and dolls
Pune, India Seema’s project SI Dundee 24 dresses, 23 shorts and 28 T shirts
Not only do we have that ‘warm glow’ that we have made a very small difference to a country but a very big difference to a child, the sewing bee gives us a chance to chat and laugh and support each other in an informal way.
