Fresh Thoughts and RASASC

Following the launch of the Southwest Surrey Fresh Thoughts, members Jacky and Juliet have been continuing the rollout of the booklet. Fresh Thoughts is a resource for professionals dealing with survivors of domestic abuse. It pulls together local information about the legal system and support networks available in the Southwest Surrey area. Jacky and Juliet met members of the Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) in Guildford to hand over copies of the booklet. The professionals were delighted and said it was "fantastic and certain to provide invaluable, practical and much need support". In particular, they were impressed with the layout and flow diagrams - all designed by the Soroptimists in Salisbury. RASASC has also given us some further contacts. The work continues!
