Friendship Weekend – Almelo, Netherlands
17th to 20th September 2026: We packed our bags for Almelo in the Netherlands for this year’s Soroptimist Friendship Weekend and what a weekend it was. From nature walks, art and an unexpected fashion show to dinner on Nobel Peace Prize plates and a glamorous gala evening, our Dutch hosts gave us an unforgettable few days. But the best bit? Catching up with old friends, making plenty of new ones from across Europe and being reminded just how special our international Soroptimist friendships can be.
