Our regular meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month except August. Most meetings are held at Heswall Hall, Telegraph Road, Heswall, CH60 0AF.
At Heswall we enjoy a lively programme of club meetings as well as attending regional meetings and the Soroptimist Annual Conference. Business meetings are usually on the second Thursday of the month at 7.00pm. Federation/Region correspondence, Programme Action and other business relating to the club subcommittees is discussed. Following this there is usually a short, interesting item e.g. update about a project the club is supporting or a topical current item e.g. Water Aid or a Pink evening to support breast cancer awareness.
Speaker meetings are on the fourth Thursday of the month and start at 7.00 pm. Members enjoy a talk as well as catching up with old and new friends.
In addition to our regular programme we participate in a number of service projects supporting local and national charities. Members are regularly involved at Wirral Women & Children’s Aid and at Tomorrow’s Women Wirral.
Fund raising and social events are held throughout the year.
