Diamond Education Grant

Purpose

The Diamond Education Grant provides grants to assist women seeking to refurbish their skills after employment breaks or to acquire new skills to improve their opportunities of employment and promotion.  Grants are given to help towards the cost of course fees or books/equipment, not for living expenses.

Applications

To be eligible to apply, you must be female and permanently resident within one of the countries of our Federation (SIGBI).  To see a full list of countries and clubs within the Federation, and check your eligibiity, please go to Our Clubs.

The closing date each year for applications is 15th April, and applications for 2012 are now closed.

£60 for 60 Appeal

To mark the Queen’s Jubilee Year, the SIGBI President has announced a £60 for 60″ appeal to boost the funds available and enable more grants to be made.  She is looking to each club in the Federation to raise £60 for the Grant Fund during the Queen’s Jubilee Year.  To make a donation, see below or send a cheque in favour of SIGBI to our Stockport office, marking it on the back “Diamond Education Grant – £60 for 60 Appeal”.
