Serving our local community
Our club supports a number of organisations in our local community including Home Start, Women's Refuge and Foodbank. For more details see the sections below:
Delivering household cleaning products
Members support Homestart in several ways by providing essential items for families. Our recent delivery was household cleaning items.
Several members volunteer every week to help at the local Foodbank for over the last 14 years.
We continue to support our local Refuge with looking after several planters on the patio with seasonal flowers and herbs. Christmas can be a difficult time and we like to give the women gifts at Christmas. The Welcome Goody Bags, made by our Sewing Sisters group have been very much appreciated by the women when they arrive.
Hats & gloves for Christmas
Marigolds brighten up the planter.
