About our Club
Welcome to our King’s Lynn club website.
We are an active club with around 30 members.
Our meetings are held generally on the first and third Monday in the month as detailed on the programme page at Marriott’s Warehouse, South Quay, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 5DT
The evening on the first Monday of the month starts at 6.15pm for those who wish to have supper with the meeting commencing at 7.30pm.
On Monday 15 April, we held our 44rd Annual General Meeting at Marriott’s Warehouse, King’s Lynn.
Members reported on the years work.
During the year the club raised funds from various events including a literary lunch, murder mystery and afternoon teas.
The club also held a very successful International Women’s Day event Women Aloud in the year.
A cheque was presented at the AGM for £1600 to Home-Start Norfolk.
The club programme action (project) activities had been wide ranging from holding a two day event Women Aloud in the Town Hall for International Women’s Day, assisting with English lessons for migrant workers and not forgetting the Public Speaking Competition.
Our club continues to attract new members who bring with them fresh ideas and enthusiasm.
In addition to the monthly meetings we hold numerous events during the year, some of which are included on the events pages as well as being shown on the programme page.
Non-members are welcome to attend, by arrangement.
