Development
Traditionally this role incorporated dealing with both the membership issues that arose within the clubs of the region, and the exploration of new areas in which to charter new clubs. Often the role of Development Officer was a done as a job share, to spread the load.
Over the years we have lost clubs in Poole, Southampton, Christchurch, Reigate, Chichester and Portsmouth, that could follow the example of Salisbury and re-form. There are also areas, like Basingstoke or Petersfield, that would be a great place to start a new club.
