Join us on Tuesday September 17th for a tour of Greater Manchester’s Recycling Facility. Which plastics can be recycled? What happens to our non-recyclable waste? Do crisp packets count as paper? Find the answers to these and many other questions about the rubbish in our lives.

Every year Soroptimists meet in Conference to celebrate the achievements of Clubs throughout our Federation, to pool ideas about how we can ‘make a difference’ and to make new friends and see new places. This year’s Conference is in Bournemouth from October 24th to 26th.

Wednesday August 7th. Lunch at The Beach – 12 for 12.30. A walk round the Lake before lunch will start at 11am; the distance is about two miles and it is described as ‘a gentle stroll’.
