Welcome to the SI High Wycombe and District Website.
I am delighted to be President of SI High Wycombe and District again. We have such a positive and active group of members. although we are small in number.
During 2019/20 we plan to continue our regular support for women’s charities, including Wycombe Women’s Aid and Rape Crisis with ‘Start-up Washing-up Bowls’ for women moving from refuges into their own homes and with Christmas Boxes.
We are also continuing our support of Wycombe Homeless for part of the year.
In keeping with the present heightened interest in mental welfare, I am inviting a speaker from Lindengate, a charity supporting through gardening projects, those with mental health problems.
We have also linked up with Wycombe District Dementia Action to investigate ways of working with them.
If you are interested in any of these projects, or others, then do come and join us.
