Welcome to our Club

YEOVIL AND DISTRICT CLUB meets fortnightly, at 7.30pm at The Manor Hotel, Hendford, Yeovil BA20 1TG (Tel: 01935 423116).

The first meeting in the month is a Business Meeting and the second is a Social Evening, which can vary from talks and demonstrations, illustrated acounts of members’ visits abroad or fundraising ventures. We have even had a talent-show complete with belly-dancers. Social meetings start with a meal together, naturally.

SI Yeovil & District is a very friendly and supportive club. We like to have fun but we are serious about raising funds that benefit women and young people and proactive on issues that affect women and girls both at home and abroad. We have recently won a 2009 SI Programme Award for our domestic violence Bookmark Project.

New members are always welcome: although the town of Yeovil is in Somerset, we have several members who live in Dorset. (Plans are in place to change the name of Yeovil Club to make the inclusion of nearby Dorset towns more prominent.)
