About Our Club

Tudor row of shops

Nantwich and District SI Club was chartered in 1950 by the Ellesmere Port Club.  Meetings were held at lunchtime at Nantwich Civic Hall, and were conducted in a very formal atmosphere!

We firmly believe that Soroptimism has much to offer any woman who wishes to join an organisation which focuses on womens’ issues; that supports local, national and international projects; that raises funds – and does all this in a fun way, amongst members who rapidly become good friends.

Nantwich and District S.I. always welcomes new members.  Our club is a group of professional women who work together in friendship at local, national and international level. See Our Projects page for details of the work we do. We also hold social events. Speakers are invited to some meetings and speak on a wide range of subjects. You can find out more about these on the Diary of Events page. If you would like to join us send a message via the Contacts page and we will be in touch.
