Soroptimist International - Cannock and District

Soroptimist International of Cannock and District is part of a worldwide organisation of women, which is linked to the United Nations.

Soroptimists Are Standing Up for Women and Girls!

We are a group of women who are fun, friendly and passionate about educating, empowering and enabling women and girls locally, nationally and internationally to work towards being the very best they can be.

We support local women’s refuges, food banks, work with schools and libraries and have recently formed a fabulous relationship with the Ukrainian families who have sought shelter in our area. Learn more about this and about our other varied projects by clicking here  SI Cannock and District Projects | SI Cannock and District | SIGBI

Founded in 1955, we work to make the voices of women and girls heard whilst striving to remain relevant and aware of the issues they face daily. That is why we are currently contributing to a national campaign to highlight issues around Women’s safety in the UK.

We have members of all ages and we meet approx. every three weeks on Tuesday evening at The Barns Hotel, Cannock where we share a meal and friendship, and are often entertained by a speaker.

So why not come along? You are guaranteed a warm welcome!
