Nightsafe is a local charity in Blackburn which helps support homeless and vulnerable people aged 16-24. They have several projects in and around the Blackburn area including a day centre called Platform 5, a shelter providing emergency accommodation, Witton Project for homeless 16-18 year olds and Cornfield Cliffe, a 6 bedroom house for 16-24 years olds.
Members collected toiletries, underwear and raised funds to present to Jan Larkin when she came to talk to us about their amazing work.
President Lindsay identified Nightsafe as one of her charities for the year and was pleased to present Jan with a cheque as well as all the toiletries and underwear.
