Start A New Club

Please see below the procedure for starting a new Club.

The forms referred to in the Guide are available as separate documents. There must be 12 founder Members before a Club can be chartered, and evidence of programme work being undertaken must be provided.

If there is interest in your area to set up another club, there is a team ready to assist you every step of the way.   It is recognised that the possibility of a new club can come about in many ways.  Every Region, National Association, Network and Country will be proactive in regularly reviewing their area for places, which could support a new club.

Before Charter:

Regions/NAs/Networks can apply for an Organisational Development Grant from SIGBI. Any grant must be match-funded by the Region/NA/Network. Please see all the documentation below:

The petition form must be completed and signed by all founder Members of the new Club and sent to SIGBI HQ at least three months before the proposed Charter Date:
