Soroptimist International Jersey – Inspirational Woman of the Year Award 2025
The Inspirational Woman of the Year Award 2025 was held on Friday 27th June at The Savoy Hotel. We welcomed inspiring, exceptional women from our local community including our three finalists Kate Wright, Ceri Tinley, Carole Stockill alongside last year’s Inspirational Woman of the Year award winner, Joy Thomson.
After tea Club President, Debbie Taylor announced this year’s winner: Kate Wright.
Kate Wright was nominated for chairing of the Government of Jersey’s Violence Against Women and Girls Taskforce, as a contributor to ConnectMe.je and CEO of the domestic abuse charity FREEDA.
Ceri Tinley was nominated as founder and managing director of the luxury chalet business Consensio Ski, for mentoring other female business owners and founder of the teen-run club See Her Run.
Carole Stockill was nominated as the founder of the non-profit group Laugh, Move and Groove which provides charities and organisations with ‘laughter yoga’ classes and seated exercise.
