On Saturday 27th September our members attended the Jersey Festival of Words to listen to Dr Annie Gray talking about her book “The Bookshop, The Draper, The Candlestick Maker” at The Freedom Centre. @soroptimistjsy are proud to sponsor Dr Annie Gray, our fourth year of supporting female authors at the Festival.
Dr Annie Gray delivered a fun, interesting and inspiring talk about the High Street through history. She was very complimentary about Jersey’s King Street and covered market. We are indeed very fortunate.
