Friendship has always been at the heart of the Soroptimists
Since the first Club was established in Oakland, California in 1921 links between Clubs enable members to share experiences, learn from different cultures, and work together on projects that advance Soroptimist goals of gender equality, empowerment, and education for women and girls.
One of our members takes on the role of keeping in contact with our friendship links, made much easier now with email! Any news is reported to the Club at our meetings.
