On 16th July, in continuation of our drive to address the problem of plastic bags polluting our city and clogging our drains, SISK members armed with fabric bags visited a local market to spread awareness among customers and shopkeepers about the seriousness of the problem and also ensure that everyone was abiding by the NO Single Use Plastic Rule. The Kolkata Police also assisted our endeavour by deputing a policeman to accompany and assist us in this awareness program.
