On June 26th, SI South Kolkata conducted a second round of discussions on cervical cancer with local women. This session focused on encouraging women aged 25 to 60 to undergo Pap Smear screening tests.
Sutapa Biswas, Founder of the Cancer Foundation of India, was invited once again to engage informally with a small group of women. It was encouraging to observe that nearly all attendees recognized the importance of Pap Smear screenings. A total of twenty-three women have registered for the test, which is scheduled to take place in July.
