SI South Kolkata observed International Literacy Day with the children of IPER on 9th September. President Shukla and PAO Ruma read stories on animals from colourful books. Shukla also recited a couple of popular poems from Sukumar Ray’s #AbolTabol while Dr. Bijli recited GonfChuri. The children enjoyed listening to both stories and poems.
SISK members Punam, Ruma, Anita Nan, Ranjana, Shukla and Bijli with her two hats of SISK Charter President and IPER Director were present. Chocolates from Ruma Sen was a big hit with the children.
