On July 19th, 2024, members of the Women’s Peace Council from the Institute for Indian Mother and Child participated in a tree planting event at IIMC Sikshangan, Bamongachi, Sonarpur. During this initiative, 60 saplings of fruit and flowering plants were distributed, with two saplings planted on the school premises.
Attendees included President Shukla Chattopadhyay, Secretary Rinku Das, PAO & PP Ruma Sen, and SISK member Ruby Ray. This event marks one more step towards a greener and brighter future, showcasing the commitment of the SISK Climate Action Warriors as they work diligently to achieve a more sustainable world for tomorrow.
