Soroptimist International of South Kolkata (SISK) in association with National Association of Soroptimist International of India (NASI) hosted a webinar on 10th September with Chetan Bhagat, eminent author and motivational speaker, to begin their observation of their 19th Charter Day. There were 69 participants, including international guests.
Mr Bhagat spoke of the many issues faced by women who are in a “sacrifice” mode giving their all for their families, often without acknowledgment of their roles. The need is to assert and take time out for self-actualisation to get a sense of self fulfilment.
He took questions from the house and addressed concerns and fears based on their experiences.
President Shukla thanked all participants and ofcourse Mr Chetan Bhagat for taking the time to speak.
