SISK receives best practice commendation award for the project related to Cervical Cancer. It was a proud moment for SISK
National Association of Soroptimist International India (NASI of India) EC & Installation Ceremony on 26th and 27th November 2022 hosted by Pune Metro East was attended by Bhaswati Biswas of SISK, NASI Treasurer outgoing and incoming, Ruma Sen, IPP SISK and Club Rep of NASI and Shukla Chattopadhyay, President-Elect & Communications Officer of SISK and Assistant Programme Director, Prosperity at SIGBI Federation. The ceremony was grand and culturally engaging while the hospitality was marvellous! SISK received the Second Best Project Award from NASI President Achina Kundu.
SI South Kolkata received the Best Project Award under the Planet Category for their Mangrove Plantation in the Sunderbans, having planted 25,112 saplings and bringing together not just India but the entire Federation unitedly helping to regenerate mangroves to rebuild the coastline and enable and empower coastal women and girls to augment their livelihood. The project was in total sync with the Centenary theme #planttreesforaBrilliantFuture.
