The Cervical Screening Camp held on July 23rd at the Institute for Psychological and Educational Research (IPER) was a resounding success. Out of the 74 individuals who registered during the last awareness camp, 58 attended the screening event. Participants took advantage of the opportunity to undergo screening, gynecological check-ups, or both. However, some individuals were ineligible for screening due to being unmarried or being married with children but under the age of 25. This collaborative effort between SISK and IPER was a commendable initiative, demonstrating commitment to health awareness in an increasingly materialistic world. The screening team, led by Ms. Rakiba and gynecologist Dr. Sreeya Bose, conducted the sessions with exceptional methodical care. We extend our heartfelt thanks to IPER, the Cancer Foundation of India (CFI), and Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) for their invaluable support in organizing this event.
