The collaboration continues… Calcutta International School InterActors and SISK donating 86 kilos of rice, 6 kilos of dal and 1 litre of mustard oil to IPER Children for their midday meal under the Fistful of Grain Programme on 8th Nov. Calcutta International School and SISK join hands to arrange a medical camp for adult underprivileged, in collaboration with FORTIS Hospitals Anandapur Kolkata on 30th November 2025.33 adults from IPER ,Emmanuel School and Calcutta Social Project attended the medical camp . Transport was arranged to pick them up from an assigned location and dropped at the medical camp site.

80 bags were distributed to the Interactors of the Calcutta International School for another round of collection drive. President Shukla briefed the students about Soroptimism and the Soroptimist connection with the United Nation. Ruma Sen, Prog Action Officer talked about the project. We were privileged to have Rtn. Arpita Chatterjee, Chairman – Interact Club of RI District 3291 amidst the Interactors. Our special thanks to Juthika Mal, Teacher-in-Charge. Saswati Bhattacharya and Sunita Bose members of the SISK Prog Team were also present at the session. The bags will be collected in mid-October for distribution.

Project “Fistful of Grains” saw its revival post covid. 60 bags were distributed to the Interactors of the Interact Club of Calcutta International School on  January 25th 2024 Around 80 kg of rice was collected after a month and donated to The Calcutta Emmanuel School as part of their mid-day meals program. The handover after a month. February 25th 2024     t The bags filled with love and compassion.

Project “Fistful of Grain” saw its revival this year after it was discontinued due to covid. This year around 60 bags were distributed to the students of the interact club of Calcutta International School. Students will put a handful of grains every day, which will be collected after a month and donated to The Emmanuel School as part of their midday meal program.
