Helping Stourbridge to Bloom

Thanks to Jan for her donation which enabled us to buy these lovely plants for the raised bed

Great team work today – starting with the removal of polyanthus & some soil . Then collection of donated compost bags from Websters & purchase of shrubs from Jan’s donation & great timing meeting up with Penny, who emptied more soil and refilled all barrier baskets with new compost ready for planting next week. At the same time we had a helpful meeting with David Craddock & David Harcourt where David C agreed that his staff would be asked to water ( or at least help with it) and remove butts from raised bed rather than opting for an external wall hung hose system. ( which haven’t keen on for a range of reasons). Great progress this week ~ thanks everybody who was able to assist.
