To mark Earth Day on 22nd April 2021, some of us took part in a quiz organised by one of our Programme Action groups, the Planet Group. We were challenged by a range of questions and the answers certainly made us pause for thought. There has been much in the news over the last few days about the future of our planet and recent commitments by nations across the world to take action on climate change are to be welcomed. We will certainly be making our contribution in the coming year.
And the answer to the question: the UK creates enough waste to fill the Royal Albert Hall every two hours.
