Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) has had a plot at the National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) since 2002.
We want to attract visitors to our plot by installing an eye-catching statue made of glass and stone, which will reflect the light and make people want to visit our site to find out more about who we are and what we do.
The sculptor who has designed this statue has produced many of the attractive and eye-catching statues already in place on other plots. The statue will be over 1.9m tall (glass section 850cm), and will cost £10,000. We have already received pledges from individual Soroptimists and know that the target is within our reach.
We want to be able to commission the statue by the end of July, to be in place in the Autumn. Please support our appeal. You can donate by cheque to SIGBI Ltd or by our Virgin Money Giving Campaign.
